Our Commitment: Families Caring for Families
At Magnolia Manor, you’ll feel the difference that family ownership and management make in creating a warm environment of care. Magnolia Manor is owned and managed by Lakeland residents Louis and Lori Garrard, not by a corporation or senior care conglomerate.
The Magnolia Manor team, residents and their families get to know each other personally, building close relationships that foster complete care. At Magnolia Manor, residents are more like members of a big extended family. Visitors and residents immediately feel the warmth and care we provide.
Louis and Lori Garrard have been providing senior adult care since 2008. In addition to Magnolia Manor, they own and operate Grace Manor at Lake Morton, a memory care community in Lakeland; assisted living communities The Manor at Lake Morton and Grace Manor Suites in Lakeland, The Manor at Lake Jackson in Sebring; and an active adult community, Grace Manor at Hunters Creek in Plant City. Louis and Lori often are asked to share their expertise and wealth of knowledge by speaking at events related to senior care.
After recognizing a need in the area for assisted living care provided with a family approach, the Garrards founded Magnolia Manor. They envisioned an environment where older people thrive, where loneliness and isolation are behind them, and where families and friends feel secure knowing that their loved ones can remain independent, yet be protected and fulfilled.
The Garrards and their team members believe in providing care as if they are serving their own families. They also are dedicated to meeting the needs of residents’ extended family members.
